Child Exploitation (CSE) and Extra-familial Harm Elearning

Our Child Exploitation and Extra-Familial Harm course, formerly known as Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE), has been designed for those working with children and young people who are at risk of abuse or grooming.

For many children, exploitation and extra-familial harm are difficult topics to discuss. This is why it’s essential for anyone who interacts with children and young people in the workplace to be able to identify their risks and prevent any further abuse.

This CPD-certified course will teach trainees how to identify potential exploitation cases and report them to the appropriate authorities. It also discusses the impact of CSE, highlights which children may be at increased risk, and details how to prevent it in the workplace. Other forms of exploitation, such as slavery and grooming by gangs, are also covered.

With interactive scenarios, case studies, challenges, and downloadable resources, you’ll be given comprehensive training in combating common safeguarding situations involving children. This course takes 1-2 hours, after which you will complete a final assessment. If you receive a passing grade, you’ll receive a certificate to show you have completed your child sexual exploitation training and have an awareness of its risks and signs.
