Who is KADA Training Academy?

KADA Training Academy CIC is a small charitable organisation located in the East Riding of Yorkshire. It was founded in 2026, with a huge ambition to become a unique training provider focusing on raising awareness of domestic abuse and ensuring children and young people who have and are experiencing abuse are seen as victims in their own right and have people and workers around them who can support them.

2009

Through Humberside Police's, Operation Lifestyle  the KADA Crew won a trip to Alton Towers for their work raising awareness of Domestic Abuse and the effects it can have on children. 

2010

The KADA Crew came in second place and won a trip to PGL Paris with  Humberside Police's, Operation Lifestyle .for their work to raise money to refurbish a local children's centre play area.

2011

Through lots of fund raising the KADA crew was able to buy 3 baby simulators that demonstrate the effects of shaking babies and using drugs and alcohol whilst pregnant. They were frequent visitors to conferences and training stages with the KADA babies. 

2012

After finishing school one of the KADA Crew members started volunteering in a local Women's Aid Refuge to support the children who was escaping Domestic Abuse with their mothers. 

2013

After spending time with the children in the refuge, it became clear that they needed more targeted support. So KADA Stars program was created and introduced. 

2014

Due to funding cuts KADA's work came to a halt.

2026

KADA Training Academy CIC was registered and started its new adventure.
